  Bank account closed at Ft. Sill National Bank. Even though there was over $400 in the account, they insitsed on charging a 'service fee' that was draining the account. When this fee came into play I'm not sure since the account had been free from these fees for quite some time.

  The Lawton DFAS Alumni web site is the brainchild of several former employees of the now defunct Lawton-Fort Sill Field Site of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. A flood of support has prompted us to create this web site. We hope you find it entertaining, informative, and enjoyable. Membership and/or listing of your name/city/state is not limited to those from the Lawton DFAS Field Site. Any member of the DFAS employee community is encouraged to participate.

  Many of you have expressed interest in making a donation to the site for funding. We are currently exploring the ramifications of the IRS and obtaining a bank account to deposit any monies into. As soon as something is worked out so we're legal, we'll post the information.

  I believe the problem with Mozilla/Firefox compatibility has been solved. Please let me know if you're using a version of Mozilla/Firefox (and which version) and you're still experiencing problems.

  Visited the IRS and got a temporary Employee Identification Number needed for a bank account to accept and disperse funds for us. Chris (Rhines) Norris & I have scheduled Wednesday, May 22, to visit the bank and have appropriate paperwork done to open the account.
